This is an action in which the plaintiff seeks to recover damages for personal injuries received as a result of an automobile collision. Two separate accidents occurred, each between two different pairs of vehicles. The two accidents occurred within a few minutes of each other, at approximately 6:30 A.M. on Highway 30, about ten miles east of Madison, on October 25, 1948. It was daylight; however, the weather conditions were foggy and cloudy, thus limiting visibility along the highway to about one hundred feet.
